Clos Maggiore

Clos Maggiore is supposed to be the most romantic restaurants in London according to the Hardens guide and it is located in Covent Garden. It is a big restaurant, with many floors, and the most romantic part is in the garden/ conservatory that is full of flowers, so if you want to have the most romantic experience there, make sure you specify you want to sit there when you go (note I sat on another floor, which was still very pleasant and romantic, it had a nice fire to create a pleasant atmosphere). Clos Maggiore serves contemporary French food influenced by Tuscany and Provence, and appearantly has an amazing wine list (the FT wine critic Jancis Robinson appearantly got very excited when she saw the wine menu). When I went there I had a vegetable starter (goats cheese, aubergines, etc..) and then lamb which was nice, and I really liked the potatoe and goat's cheese gnocchi that were served with it, also see attached a picture of a pigeon starter that we also had.
